Who is responsible for this storefront
Transfer Thread is operated by Great North Sellers LLC d/b/a Transfer Thread. In this policy, "Transfer Thread," "we," and "us" refer to that operator in connection with this website and direct customer orders.
Information we collect
- Contact and delivery information, including name, email address, phone number, billing address, and shipping address.
- Order information, including selected designs, colors, sizes, quantities, discounts, totals, payment status, shipping status, and support history.
- Payment-related status and transaction identifiers supplied by Stripe. Transfer Thread does not store full payment-card numbers.
- Messages, design briefs, exact wording, preferences, reference files, images, audio notes, and other details you provide for support or custom-design and printing inquiries.
- Device, browser, IP-address, request, security, and fraud-prevention information needed to operate and protect the site.
- Cart and promotion information stored in your browser so the shopping and checkout flow can work.
- With your optional storage choice, a limited on-device recommendation profile containing searches, viewed design codes, and collection interests from activity on Transfer Thread.
- Analytics and advertising measurement information, including page views, searches, product and cart activity, checkout starts, ad-click identifiers, consent choices, and verified purchase value and reference, when Google measurement is permitted or operating in its limited consent-denied mode.
- When you allow analytics, daily first-party aggregate traffic totals by approximate country, state or region, city, page path, referral hostname, and campaign labels. These aggregate records do not store your IP address, a browser or customer ID, or full URL query strings.
How we use information
- Validate products, prices, discounts, inventory, and checkout requests.
- Process payments, produce, pack, ship, and support orders.
- Handle address questions, cancellations, returns, refunds, disputes, and suspected fraud.
- Evaluate custom-design requests and create, revise, review, prepare, and support requested artwork, including through AI-assisted and other creative tools.
- Respond to customer-service and custom-printing inquiries.
- At a customer's request, arrange one neutral, independently hosted review invitation after a verified purchase.
- Maintain business, tax, accounting, safety, and legal records.
- Secure, troubleshoot, test, and improve the storefront and connected fulfillment systems.
- Understand which locations, pages, and campaigns bring interested visitors to the storefront when analytics is allowed.
- Rank a “For you” shelf from searches and product views made on Transfer Thread when optional storage is allowed.
Optional Trustpilot review invitations
After Stripe confirms a direct website purchase, the order-confirmation page may offer you the choice to receive one independent Trustpilot review invitation. Nothing is shared with Trustpilot unless you affirmatively choose to allow that invitation. Declining does not affect your order, support, or eligibility for any offer.
If you allow the invitation, Transfer Thread shares only the name and email used at checkout and the order reference needed to verify the experience. Trustpilot may then set cookies and process that information under its own privacy terms. We do not send Trustpilot your payment-card information, phone number, billing address, or shipping address. No review is required, no particular rating is requested, and a review may be positive, negative, or anywhere in between.
Stripe Checkout
Direct website payments are processed through Stripe Checkout. Stripe may collect payment-method, billing, contact, device, and transaction information under its own privacy terms. Transfer Thread receives the payment status and order information needed to fulfill and support the purchase, but not the customer's full card number.
Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement
Transfer Thread uses Google Analytics and the Google tag to understand site traffic, searches, product interest, cart and checkout activity, completed purchases, and whether advertising visits lead to purchases. Depending on your privacy choice, Google may use cookies or similar identifiers, or receive limited cookieless measurement signals. Verified purchase events can include the order value, currency, purchased-product information, and a non-customer- identifying order reference used to prevent duplicate counting. Transfer Thread does not send full payment-card numbers through this measurement.
You can allow or decline optional Google analytics and advertising storage through the site's Privacy choices control. Enhanced conversions, which would send hashed customer contact information to Google, and automatic form interaction tracking are not enabled. First-party aggregate traffic measurement
When you allow analytics, Transfer Thread records daily aggregate page-view and session-start totals using the approximate country, state or region, and city supplied with the site request by our hosting network. The record can also include the page path, referral hostname, and standard campaign labels. Transfer Thread does not store the source IP address, a persistent visitor identifier, a fingerprint, or full URL query strings in this aggregate table.
Declining analytics or using a supported Global Privacy Control signal stops this first-party report as well as optional browser-based recommendations. Aggregate page views are not represented as a count of distinct people.
On-device recommendations
When you allow optional storage, Transfer Thread can remember a limited history of searches, viewed design codes, and collection interests from this storefront for up to 180 days. That profile stays in your browser and is used to rank the site's “For you” and “Keep shopping for” design shelves. It is not a customer identity profile and does not contain contact or payment data.
Transfer Thread cannot read your Google searches, social-media activity, Amazon or eBay history, or browsing on other sites. Declining optional storage deletes the on-device recommendation profile. You can change that choice at any time through the site's Privacy choices control.
Security verification and optional benefits
The checkout may use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate customer activity from automated abuse.
If you choose the community appreciation discount, GOVX ID handles eligibility verification. Transfer Thread receives the approved eligibility result needed to apply the offer; identity documents are not collected or stored by Transfer Thread.
When information is shared
Information is shared only as reasonably needed to operate the storefront, complete a customer-requested transaction, protect the business and customers, or comply with law. Recipients can include:
- Stripe and payment, fraud-prevention, and checkout service providers.
- Google when analytics or advertising measurement is used, subject to your privacy choice and Google's applicable terms.
- Website hosting, security, database, inventory, email, and operational service providers.
- Shipping carriers and fulfillment tools that need delivery and package information.
- Trustpilot only when a verified purchaser chooses to receive an independent review invitation.
- Creative, file-processing, and AI service providers when reasonably needed to evaluate or produce a customer-requested design.
- GOVX ID when a customer chooses to request the community discount.
- Professional advisers, insurers, financial institutions, or authorities when reasonably required for legal, accounting, safety, fraud, or dispute purposes.
Retention and security
Information is kept for as long as reasonably needed to fulfill and support orders, maintain inventory and financial records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative, operational, and technical safeguards, but no online service or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
Customer artwork uploads
Artwork submitted through the upload page is stored privately and is not placed in the public storefront. We use technical file validation, access controls, and internal security and print-review processes before the file is used for production. The original file, review findings, and related project details are retained only as long as reasonably needed to evaluate, quote, fulfill, support, document, or lawfully protect the request.
Upload only artwork needed for the project. Do not embed unrelated personal data or sensitive records in the file or its metadata. No transmission, storage, or security measure can guarantee absolute security.
Sensitive information in design submissions
Do not place trade secrets, legally privileged information, government identity documents, medical records, financial account information, or other highly sensitive information in a design brief or reference file unless Transfer Thread has agreed in writing to a different handling process.
Your choices
You may decline an optional Trustpilot invitation without affecting your purchase, and you may clear cart and promotion data through your browser settings. To ask about access, correction, deletion, or another privacy request, email support@transferthread.com. Some records may need to be retained for fulfillment, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, dispute, or legal reasons.
Children and policy updates
This is a general-audience apparel storefront and is not directed to children under 13. This policy may be updated when the site, operations, service providers, or legal requirements change. The current version and update date will remain posted on this page.
