Who is responsible for this storefront
Transfer Thread is operated by Great North Sellers LLC d/b/a Transfer Thread. In this policy, "Transfer Thread," "we," and "us" refer to that operator in connection with this website and direct customer orders.
Information we collect
- Contact and delivery information, including name, email address, phone number, billing address, and shipping address.
- Order information, including selected designs, colors, sizes, quantities, discounts, totals, payment status, shipping status, and support history.
- Payment-related status and transaction identifiers supplied by Stripe. Transfer Thread does not store full payment-card numbers.
- Messages, design briefs, exact wording, preferences, reference files, images, audio notes, and other details you provide for support or custom-design and printing inquiries.
- Device, browser, IP-address, request, security, and fraud-prevention information needed to operate and protect the site.
- Cart and promotion information stored in your browser so the shopping and checkout flow can work.
How we use information
- Validate products, prices, discounts, inventory, and checkout requests.
- Process payments, produce, pack, ship, and support orders.
- Handle address questions, cancellations, returns, refunds, disputes, and suspected fraud.
- Evaluate custom-design requests and create, revise, review, prepare, and support requested artwork, including through AI-assisted and other creative tools.
- Respond to customer-service and custom-printing inquiries.
- Maintain business, tax, accounting, safety, and legal records.
- Secure, troubleshoot, test, and improve the storefront and connected fulfillment systems.
Stripe Checkout
Direct website payments are processed through Stripe Checkout. Stripe may collect payment-method, billing, contact, device, and transaction information under its own privacy terms. Transfer Thread receives the payment status and order information needed to fulfill and support the purchase, but not the customer's full card number.
Security verification and optional benefits
The checkout may use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate customer activity from automated abuse.
When information is shared
Information is shared only as reasonably needed to operate the storefront, complete a customer-requested transaction, protect the business and customers, or comply with law. Recipients can include:
- Stripe and payment, fraud-prevention, and checkout service providers.
- Website hosting, security, database, inventory, email, and operational service providers.
- Shipping carriers and fulfillment tools that need delivery and package information.
- Creative, file-processing, and AI service providers when reasonably needed to evaluate or produce a customer-requested design.
- Professional advisers, insurers, financial institutions, or authorities when reasonably required for legal, accounting, safety, fraud, or dispute purposes.
Retention and security
Information is kept for as long as reasonably needed to fulfill and support orders, maintain inventory and financial records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative, operational, and technical safeguards, but no online service or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
Uploaded finished artwork
Finished artwork submitted through the upload page is stored privately and is not placed in the public storefront. We use technical file validation, access controls, and internal security and print-review processes before the file is used for production. The original file, review findings, and related project details are retained only as long as reasonably needed to evaluate, quote, fulfill, support, document, or lawfully protect the request.
Upload only artwork needed for the project. Do not embed unrelated personal data or sensitive records in the file or its metadata. No transmission, storage, or security measure can guarantee absolute security.
Sensitive information in design submissions
Do not place trade secrets, legally privileged information, government identity documents, medical records, financial account information, or other highly sensitive information in a design brief or reference file unless Transfer Thread has agreed in writing to a different handling process.
Your choices
You may clear cart and promotion data through your browser settings. To ask about access, correction, deletion, or another privacy request, email support@transferthread.com. Some records may need to be retained for fulfillment, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, dispute, or legal reasons.
Children and policy updates
This is a general-audience apparel storefront and is not directed to children under 13. This policy may be updated when the site, operations, service providers, or legal requirements change. The current version and update date will remain posted on this page.
